Gays & Christianity

Some time ago, we were surprised to find that one of the new teens attending our church did not realize that being gay/homosexual was a sin in God's eyes... The truth is, it is an abomination (wickedness; sin) to Him. (better definition of abomination is below).
Homosexuals cannot enter heaven. If they go to church seeking God's grace, they can be saved by repenting of the sin and go to heaven, but they cannot go to church as a homosexual or gay person and stay that way and be allowed to enter heaven's gates.
However, many children these days are unaware of God's word because their parents haven't provided the opportunity for them to attend church for one reason or another and satan's followers have had Bible teaching removed from public schools because they are afraid others will find out about God and will choose heaven over hell. Of course, who wouldn't, right? No one should be denied the right to learn of God's love and opportunity for heaven... no one. This is the greatest gift any human being could ever receive. This is the reason God allowed His only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross... for our sins (if we will repent of them).
It is true! God loves all His creation and He has provided many, many ways for them to seek and find Him. This webpage, I hope, will be another opportunity for someone. It is not intended to create animosity; only to provide another opportunity for you, all because of God's love for you!
Perhaps someone may say they do not believe in God, Jesus or the Bible and because of this, they think they don't have to be concerned about hell... oops, yes, sorry to say, it still matters - God is still God and He is there for all of us. Your choice is to choose heaven or hell as an end result before you die and leave this earth. If you don't choose either, then you can be assured of hell. We all must believe in Jesus and repent of our sins if we are to enter heaven's gates. We are not promised tomorrow, so please take the time to make your decision today! Email me if you have any questions or doubts.
You do not have the choice to come back as another person, place or thing... sorry again, that is all there is to it! Our purpose in being given this life is to be able to make our choice between heaven or hell. That is virtually it in a nutshell. It is as simple as that. You make the choice! I hope you will make the right decision. If you have made the wrong choice to be a homosexual/gay, not knowing that it is a sin, you can still turn from your evil ways. It is not too late. Many have changed already and God is fulfilling their lives. If someone tries to tell you that what I am saying is wrong, please go to the Bible and find out for yourself. I will provide a link here for you to do just that. Perhaps you were unaware of this in the past for one reason or another, but now is your opportunity! Best wishes and God bless you!

CHRISTMAS! CHRISTMAS! CHRISTMAS!

I recently read an article which stated that the ACLU does not object to any religion being taught in the school systems other than Christianity, which of course mentions Jesus Christ. The ACLU is definitely against Christmas! Why is this, I wonder? Could it perhaps be due to the fact that Christianity is the only religion in which a person must be born again? And because... IT WORKS! Hmmm, I wonder...

ACLU: Fliers violated sex offender's right to privacy
By RYAN BAGWELL, Staff Writer

The county Police Department violated a convicted sex offender's right to privacy when it distributed warning fliers to surrounding residents in Linthicum, according to the ACLU.
Stacey Mink, a spokesman for American Civil Liberties Union of Maryland, said someone such as Mallory Vernon Nicholson, 57, who has served his time in jail, should be left alone as any other citizen would."We find it disturbing and contrary to the constitution's guarantees that an individual that served his time would continue to be placed under a cloud of suspicion and intense police scrutiny," Ms. Mink said.County police Chief P. Thomas Shanahan defended his decision to have officers distribute about 400 fliers Nov. 30 warning that Nicholson, a registered "sexually violent predator," is living in Linthicum."I absolutely do not think it was overkill," Chief Shanahan said. "I think every neighbor, every church group, every school, every citizen in the area that has children should know he's living amongst them."Nicholson was released from a Texas prison in July 2003 after serving 21 years of a 55-year sentence for theaggravated assault of two boys, ages 7 and 9, police said. He moved to 6516 Harrison Ave. in September, notifying state police and parole officials. County police only learned of his residency Nov. 22.The fliers distributed by police contained Nicholson's name, address, photograph and other information about his conviction. He could not be reached for comment.Law enforcement officials said police have the legal right to canvass neighborhoods. State law, however, only requires police to notify school superintendents if a violent sexual predator moves into the jurisdiction.A database of registered sex offenders is available online at atwww.dpscs.state.md.usThe ACLU argues such registries often violate an individual's right to privacy, but court challenges have been unsuccessful, Ms. Mink said.Attorney Robyn Brown, a professor of criminal justice at Anne Arundel County Community College, said the courts have historically erred on the side of protecting children. Two unsuccessful challenges - one in Connecticut and another in Alaska - challenged sex offender laws on grounds the offender's due process rights were violated and the registry amounted to double jeopardy, Ms. Brown said."Most challenges to Megan's Law have really fallen on deaf ears," Ms. Brown said. "And I think it's because you have this overwhelming desire to protect children."With Internet databases already disseminating information about registered sex offenders, blanketing the Linthicum community probably didn't violate his privacy any further, she said. "Going door to door, in my opinion, I don't think that's any different," Ms. Brown ---------------rbagwell@capitalgazette.com

COMMENTARY: ACLU masquerades as defenders of equality

The American Civil Liberties Union reminds me a lot of a turbulent flight that I had from St. Louis to Hartford once; it makes me nauseous. They have gone beyond the bounds of all reason in their assault on anyone or anything which does not fall in line with their agenda. While posing as an organization designed to protect the civil rights of all Americans, they have actively eroded the rights of anyone who does not partake of their views.
Of course the ACLU is not alone, in the bluest of the blue states, like California they get a lot of help from activist judges who support their particular slant on civil rights. The furor over the cross which stands in the Mojave National Preserve is a prime example. With any luck it will soon stand on private land out of reach of the ideologues at the ACLU, but that doesn't make them hate it any less.
The cross is not a new landmark by any stretch of the imagination. The history of it dates back to 1934 when it was placed there to honor those who were killed in World War I. The cross is something I haven't actually seen, and neither probably have you. While I enjoy leisure time exploring the desert, it is an area so remote that most people will never see it; still it manages to offend the ACLU.
Despite the cross' honorable beginnings and remote location it has sent the parasitic lawyers at the ACLU into a frenzy. In order to understand their frenzy you have to understand that they see the Constitution of the United States as they want it to be, not as it is written. They believe that the first amendment spells out the old "separation of church and state," and many judges go along with them. The truth is that Constitution only prevents the government from establishing or banning religion; it does not state that the government must be devoid of it. Those on the far left pretend that it does, and continue to sue based upon their ideological falsehood. Unbelievably, they keep on winning.
Further examination reveals the anti-Christian and hypocritical nature of this radical group. Their own website (www.aclu-sc.org) contains a docket of their current cases. At the top of the list of their secular crusades are their "Church/State" cases. The first one listed is a "challenge to a permanent, explicitly sectarian, religious display on federal land of a Latin cross erected in the Mojave National Preserve."
So Representative Jerry Lewis, in the interest of his constituents, put together a deal to save the cross. Since the ACLU had won a court decision that barred the cross from federal land, he began a process through which land the land that contained the cross became the property of the Barstow VFW. The fact that the ACLU is not happy with this settlement is clear evidence that they don't just want the cross off of federal land, they want it gone period.
The alleged civil liberties union is, at the same time, suing Cal State Long Beach because it plans to erect a mini-mall on land that is believed to have been the site of the birth of a Native American god. They seem determined to protect the religious interests of the Native Americans who still, the ACLU claims, pray at the site. I'm aghast, because it sounds to me as if the ACLU is willing to fight to protect one religion while fighting against another. Of course the parasites at the ACLU will claim that I'm wrong. They will say that the heart of the issue is the cross' place on federal land; but the compromise to move the cross, and their reaction to it says all you need to know about the group.
I understand that the ACLU is busy fighting for justice in the interest of groups like the Orange Country Dyke March, who are upset because they were denied a parade permit by the city of Costa Mesa. They are suing a security company in Los Angeles because its guards try to keep homeless people away from various retail stores. Airlines are being sued for removing some passengers from planes, because the ACLU alleges race discrimination.
While the ACLU is suing the City of Los Angeles for the way that it arrested and detained violent protesters during the 2000 Democratic National Convention, it is also suing Operation Rescue. Operation Rescue protests outside of abortion clinics. Could the ACLU be more transparent? Protesters whom they agree with receive their benevolent legal help, and the ones they disagree with are actually subject to their endless legal harassment.
The ACLU has continued to harass the Boy Scouts because the group does not allow gay scout leaders. By this logic the ACLU should further be suing the Girl Scouts on behalf of straight men who want to go on camping trips with young women. The idea that the Boy Scouts' policy is anti-gay is ludicrous; unless the Girl Scouts' are anti-straight that is.
One single, simple white cross standing in the Mojave, where almost no one will ever see it has become a great symbol. Not just a memorial for those who died defending liberty, but also a beacon of truth. For all of their posturing, legalese, and nonsense-talk about equality, the ACLU is as single-minded as any other radical group with an agenda. If they truly believed in the letter of the law, as they see it, then Representative Lewis' compromise would have brought the controversy to a close; but they don't. They believe in their own agenda, and they should be ashamed of themselves for continuing to masquerade as defenders of equality.

DRUNK DRIVERS

Drunk drivers avoid charges
Charges reduced

LOUIE ROSELLA
Dec 8, 2004

Police aren't charging all Mississauga drivers who blow over the legal alcohol limit for fear it won't lead to a conviction in court.
Both Peel Regional Police and Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) from the Port Credit detachment admit their roadside testing devices are modified to register a failing mark only if a driver blows over 0.1 grams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood.
However, in Canada, the Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) legal limit is actually lower. A drinking driver is breaking the law when blowing over 0.08.
Police say they are setting their testing devices higher because they are handcuffed by the courts. Crown attorneys won't prosecute drivers who barely blow over because, police say, a conviction is far from a sure thing.
Currently, if a driver blows between 0.05 and 0.1, police say they will take away the driver's license for the night.
"We are still accomplishing the main goal, and that's taking these drivers off the road," said Port Credit OPP Sgt. Bob Elinesky yesterday.
Peel police sources say the roadside devices have been set high for several years, for a number of reasons.
If a driver were to blow slightly over 0.08 on the roadside device, his BAC would drop significantly by the time he takes a formal breathalyzer test at the police station.
Also, police say, crown attorneys aren't even prosecuting cases where the alcohol level is between 0.08 and 0.11.
Police say these are considered to be low readings and are too often scrutinized by defense lawyers in court. "Right now a lot of those charges are being plea-bargained down to careless driving charges, and obviously that's a great concern for us," said Andrew Murie, national executive director of Mississauga-based Mothers Against Drunk Driving. "It's just plain wrong that there are people out there blowing over the legal limit and getting nothing but a 12-hour suspension."
Murie said this sanction "lacks any teeth."
"It's a mere inconvenience for them to lose their license for 12 hours," he said. "They need to lose their license for longer, for several days. That will act as a deterrent."
Police say defense lawyers will often question the accuracy of the breathalyzer, and that is a strong argument, especially if a toxicologist testifies.
Peel criminal lawyer Gary Batasar said judges have acquitted his clients charged with drunk driving in the past because he has presented "evidence to the contrary" of a breathalyzer reading.

THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE BLOWING OVER THE LEGAL LIMIT AND GETTING NOTHING BUT A 12-HOUR SUSPENSION

"If the judge receives credible evidence from a toxicologist and the defendant (that the alcohol reading may have been much lower), he will be left in some doubt with regards to the breathalyzer," he said.
As of yesterday, Peel police have charged 65 people with drunk driving during their Christmas RIDE campaign. They have issued another 187 12-hour license suspensions.

Someone Moved My Cheese

On October 13th of 2004, I was permanently laid off my job for the first time in my life! I accepted it as gracefully as was possible, I believe, and without a display of anger, in spite of the ridiculous methods used to evaluate those who would were selected to be laid off. For one thing, those of us who were experienced in the job had to train many newbies in our particular field to do our jobs. Management decided to merge us with another department before elimination of our jobs, which, of course, cost the company even more money. Anyway...that's another story...

I had some severance pay coming and I knew that, plus unemployment funds would be enough to get us by for a while. It is now December 6th and I am still unemployed. I am not worried (I tell myself), but I am concerned. I am now 53 years old and about to walk into a new field out there somewhere with an over-abundance of age discrimination hanging over my head. If it weren't for a strong foundation in my belief of God, I would, more likely than not, be a nervous wreck by now!

Although I do have a daughter still in her third year of college and a good sized mortgage for one income, the hardest blow to me was having to give up our health insurance. We have about seven prescriptions per month that we must purchase in order to exist and be able to function with relatively normal lives. Instead of paying $40.00 (1.33 per pill) each for our prescriptions as we did when we had health insurance, we are now paying $128.00 (4.27 per pill) each for the higher-priced meds. That, by the way, includes a discount from K-Mart because they were kind enough to help out after I told them about the job-situation.

It wasn't until all this began that I really took an interest in what many people (especially the seniors) had been complaining about regarding the Rx Rip-Off here in America! It seems that the drug companies are ripping America off in a unbelievable way!

I never could understand how Saddam Hussein could be so inhumane to his own countrymen in some of the the cruel things he had done to them over the years. Kindness to his people would have gotten him so much more than the hate they now harbor in their hearts for him. But he chose to instill hate in them rather than love and trust.

What does this have to do with the drug companies? THE DRUG COMPANIES ARE RIPPING THE AMERICAN CONSUMER OFF and Americans are dying because we can't afford the meds necessary for our survival!!!

In an article titled The Insiders (by Patricia Barry) on page 10 of the AARP Bulletin for November 2004, Peter Rost, M.D., vice president of marketing for the endocrinology division of Pfizer Inc., points out that over 700,000 Americans die each year from heart disease and refers to studies showing that 50 percent of people on cholesterol-lowering drugs don't even use them as prescribed, and the more they have to pay, the more they stop taking them. "So it is obvious to me that probably tens of thousands of Americans are dying today because they can't afford drugs. And once you recognize that this is the case, if you don't speak up, you're really part of the problem." Two other insiders in this same article speak out and tell how the drug industry really works. I won't retype it all here, but I will add links to all the relevant articles, etc., I can find on this subject. The main idea here is that if people don't stand up and speak out, we will continue to be ripped off by immoral companies who don't care about human lives.

IT IS AN IMMORAL AND DESPICABLE ACT FOR THE DRUG COMPANIES TO CHARGE PEOPLE SUCH OUTRAGEOUS AMOUNTS OF MONEY TO KEEP THEM ALIVE WHEN THE ACTUAL COSTS TO MAKE THE DRUG ARE SO MUCH LESS!!!

I hope everyone who reads this will contact their congressmen and let them know that Americans are tired of these rip-offs and the deaths that are being contributed to because some money-hungry drug company would rather let someone die than to take a cut in profit! Please email and let me know if there is anything more I can add to this that might help with this endeavor.

Thanks for taking the time to read this article. Now, please join me in taking a stand for other Americans! God bless America! -Bill Allen
